Rodan's most famous sculpture, "Le Penseur", exists in many versions. This concrete version is mounted high on a pedestal in the garden of the Rodan Museum. If you angle your shot just right, Paris' most famous landmark is in the background. This is another example of my "twice-baked" photo method; originally shot on Tri-X, the print was then reshot with a digital camera (why didn't I just scan it? Don't own a scanner yet). In Photoshop, I played around with bringing out the Eiffel Tower, which was barely visible in the misty sky in the original shot. Then I added some subtle colors for the sky and the foliage. I think the feeling of depth works quite well.
